Dr. Anthony Ryder is the most unorthodox superintendent of schools that anyone can imagine. He is a man of few words and immense presence who appears to be at least a decade younger than his forty years. He has only been the superintendent of the Highcliff Central School District for three months, and already he has upset some people. He wonders how his predecessor, James Matthews, did it for so long without losing his mind. Still, he knows he was born to lead and he is happy in his chosen field. All he needs now is someone to share his life with, someone to love. Given his new responsibilities, though, he doesn’t think he has much chance of that. He has to be careful and his position is such that there is little time for matters of the heart, even when he finds himself falling for a man he thinks he can’t have. Love will have to wait.

The last thing Samuel Thornton wants is to end up involved with the superintendent of schools in the city where he works as an art teacher and soccer coach. He has had the hots for his boss, Dr. Ryder, from the moment he first saw him at the All Schools Soccer Finals two years before. That was when Tony was still the principal of the high school where Sam was then a new hire. But they aren’t in the same league and Sam doesn’t even know if Tony is gay. However, staying away from the charismatic leader soon becomes increasingly difficult for Sam and he doesn’t know what will happen when he can no longer hide his feelings for Tony.

Please Note: This book contains Adult Language & Steamy Adult Activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Novella, approx. 30,000 words in length. HEA (happy ever after ending). Does not end with a "cliffhanger".

Very disturbing true story of what I went through as a child. Nothing in this book is fake. Unfortunately, all the horror in it is real and it lives in my memories. The process of how my guardian and I became survivors, and how I became our heroine is in this book as well. The victory prevailed, but the impact of the horrible events created awful memories that never go away. Please do not read this unless you are mature enough to handle the content. I let it out. I use profanity. I explain graphic/violent events in detail. I appreciate your interest. I would have made this a paperback but I would have needed to write like 100 pages more, and that is not necessary to do in order to let my story be heard. 25 pages was all I needed. Read carefully cause the rawness is hard to take in.
